What's on the template screen

A walk through one template's own screen: its search and menu, the category headings, what a row tells you, the Add item button, and what changes while items are selected.

A template's own screen is where its items live. You reach it by tapping a template on the Templates screen.

The template Essentials with its items under Electronics, Toiletries, Documents and Kitchen headings

At the top

The back arrow returns you to where you came from, and the template's name sits beside it.

The magnifying glass searches inside this template, matching an item's name or the name of the category it sits in — see Find a template.

The three-dot button opens the template menu.

Category headings

Items sit under a heading for their category, and each heading shows the category's color and icon beside its name. Items without a category go under Uncategorized. When none of the items has a category, the template has no headings at all.

Tap a heading to fold its items out of sight, and tap it again to bring them back.

Items

Each row shows the item's name and, if the item has a weight, the weight under it. An item you need more than one of shows a count such as x3 on the right, and a single one shows no count.

Add item, the round button in the bottom-right corner, opens your catalog so you can put more items in — see Add items to a template.

When items are selected

Press and hold an item to select it, and tap other rows to add them to the selection. The three-dot button then opens the selection menu instead of this one — see Change several items in a template.

A template with no items

Before you put anything in, the screen says so and offers an Add item button in the middle. The round button in the corner stays hidden while that message is up, so the middle one is the only way to start filling the template.
