Duplicate a template

Copy a template you already keep, items and quantities included, and give the copy its own name for a slightly different kind of trip.

When two kinds of trip pack almost the same, duplicate the template you have and adjust the copy. The form it opens is titled Duplicate.

  1. Open the template you want to duplicate.
  2. Tap the three-dot button in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Duplicate.
  4. Type a Name for the copy.
  5. Tap Save.

The same Duplicate is in the three-dot menu on the Templates screen once you press and hold a template, and it is there only while one template is picked.

What you get

The form arrives with an empty name, so the copy is yours to call something else. Under the field, a line counts what is coming with it.

The copy takes the items of the original and the quantities they had. From there it is a template of its own, and the one you duplicated stays as it was.

Saving takes you back where you started, with a short message naming the new template.

A duplicate is a new template, so your sixth (Pro) opens a sheet when you tap Save, and the name you typed stays on the form.
