What's on the Catalog tab
A tour of the Catalog tab from top to bottom — search, the menu, category groups, item rows with their weights, the plus button and the menu you get while items are selected.
The Catalog tab holds every item you pack, grouped by category. Tap Catalog in the tab bar to open it.

At the top
The title Catalog sits on the left. Two buttons sit on the right.
The magnifying glass opens a search field in place of the title. Type part of an item's name to narrow the catalog — see Find an item in the catalog.
The three-dot button opens a menu for the category groups.

- Expand all — opens every group.
- Collapse all — folds every group to its heading, so all your categories fit on one screen.
Category groups
Once your items are filed into categories, they sit under a heading for their category. Groups follow the order you set on the Categories screen — see Edit and reorder categories. Items you have not filed yet go in an Uncategorized group before the others.
Each heading has three parts:
- The chip on the left shows the category's icon and color. You pick both when you create a category. The Uncategorized chip shows a circle with a slash through it.
- The category name, in capitals.
- The arrow on the right. Tap anywhere on the heading to fold the group or open it again. The arrow points up while the group is open and down while it is folded.
Every group starts open each time the catalog loads.
Item rows
Each row shows the item's name, with its weight underneath. A row with no weight shows the name alone. Weights appear in the units you pick under Weight format in Settings.
Tap a row to open the item — see Edit an item in the catalog. Press and hold a row to start selecting items.
The plus button
The yellow plus button in the bottom-right corner creates a new item — see Add an item to the catalog. It is hidden while you search or select items.
While items are selected
The top of the screen changes: a back arrow on the left, the number of items selected, and a three-dot button on the right that opens the selection menu.

- Select all — selects every item you can see. It disappears once they are all selected.
- Edit — opens the item. It shows up only with one item selected.
- Change category — puts every selected item into the category you choose.
- Delete — removes the selected items from the catalog and from every list they are on.
The details of each are in Change several catalog items at once.
