Choose how dates and weights are shown

Pick a date style and a metric or imperial weight for the whole app — independent of your device settings, applied everywhere at once.

Pick how dates and weights read across the app, on top of whatever your device is set to.

Date format

  1. On the Settings screen, tap Date format.

The Select date format sheet listing System default and four example dates for the current day, styled month/day/year, day/month/year, year-month-day, and day month year
  2. Tap the style you want.

System default matches your device's own date setting. The next three are fixed styles shown with today's date as the example: month/day/year, day/month/year and year-month-day. The last one spells the month's short name in the app's language, with day and month in the order your device's region uses.

Every date on screen switches to your choice right away, and it stays after you close the app.

Weight format

  1. On the Settings screen, tap Weight format.

The Select weight format sheet listing Metric and Imperial
  2. Tap Metric or Imperial.

Metric shows weights in grams, switching to kilograms at 1,000 g. Imperial shows ounces, switching to pounds at 16 oz.

Tip: A weight you type into a field follows the same choice — grams for Metric, pounds for Imperial.
